Bambino is designed to help build trusted connections between local Parents and Sitters.
Parents registering on the platform complete several verification steps, including:
- Cell phone verification
- Payment verification through Stripe
- Selfie-ID verification, where applicable
- Sex offender registry screening through third-party providers
Sitters can also review important information before accepting a booking request, including:
- Parent profiles
- Community connections
- Previous booking activity
- Parent reviews and ratings, where available
- Booking location details
After each booking, Sitters can leave feedback about their experience. Feedback is reviewed by the Bambino Member Care team, and Sitters can choose not to appear to specific families in future searches.
For safety and security, Sitters should:
- Keep communication and payments within the app
- Never purchase gift cards for any Parent
- Avoid depositing checks for families
- Report any suspicious or concerning behavior to Bambino immediately
