Bambino is a cashless platform, and all payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Setting up payouts
To set up your payout account:
- Open the Bambino app
- Navigate to My Account
- Tap Set Up My Payment Account
Once your Stripe account is connected, payments for completed bookings will be deposited directly into your bank account. Sitters ages 13–17 require a parent or legal guardian to complete the payout setup through Stripe.
During registration, the parent or legal guardian may be asked to provide:
- Full legal name
- Date of birth
- Home address
- Last 4 digits of their Social Security Number (U.S. only)
- Consent to the Terms of Service
- Identity verification documents, if requested by Stripe
Viewing payments
Sitters can track completed payments and payout history under the My Payments section of the app.
Setting your hourly rate
Sitters set their own hourly rates on Bambino. To update your rate:
- Navigate to My Account
- Tap My Hourly Rate
Updated rates will apply to future bookings only.
Receiving payment
When a sit ends, Parents will confirm the booking times and submit payment through the app. Payments are typically deposited into your bank account within 2–3 business days. Some Sitters may also have access to Stripe’s Instant Payout feature, subject to an additional processing fee.
Important payment policy
Sitters may not request or accept payment outside of the app. Keeping payments on-platform helps protect both Parents and Sitters and ensures accurate booking records.
